Blog Pics offline–Photobucket sucks

Sorry all, photobucket suddenly cut off access to all pics hosted on their site. They want $400 a year. It’s affecting lots of other bloggers too worldwide. We will fix this over the next little while but will take some time since we have years of pics from this blog hosted there.

Resurrection

It’s been 3.5 years since our last post. Where did we go? No where, really. Just decided to take a break with other things happening in life.  We haven’t gone out to a lot of interesting places anyway.  Anyhow, logging in we see there are regular visitor to the old posts. So I think it’s time to do some updates. 

First update, to change the template.  The new template is just something we put together from blogger’s templates.

We already started tracking a few recent restaurant visits so for sure, we will have a few posts up in the next week or so.  Hope we can help you out about upcoming restaurant/food visits.

Busy

The last few months have been extremely busy so we haven’t been able to update our delights.  We should have some new posts up soon.

Tech Trouble with Google Street View

I’ve been trying to add Google street view to some of the posts but each time I pinpoint the location and view that I want, it will get distorted as soon as I click on the link button.  Anyone else having this same issue or knows of the solution?  It doesn’t seem to happen with all locations though.

Lots of Catching up to do

Ok we’ve been back since the last week of November but no new posts.  Took a few weeks for us to settle down, unpack and back to the normal routine.  We do have lots of catching up to do. We have just completed downloading and editing hundreds of pics from our camera so we can update our blog.  Anyway, we will start by posting about our trip to Taiwan.  The posts will be backdated to the date of the meal so look for it beneath.

Out of Town

Sanfan’s currently travelling in the far east.  We will be back at the end of November to post some interesting eats enjoyed in Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong.  Check back soon!

SFDD has finally posted a back log of delightful meals over the last few months.  Note that the posting date has been backdated to the day of the meal you may have to scroll back to see these new postings.  Since Google street view has now been updated to include Vancouver, we will also try to update the previous maps in our previous postings to show the street view version.  Hope this will make the posts a bit more interesting.

Added to Urbanspoon

We’ve joined urbanspoon Vancouver to help generate some more traffic for our blog.  We will be updating our blogs with the urbanspoon ratings.  I think this will help with our rookie reviews as we can link to other people’s thoughts on the food and restaurants on our blog.

First Post of SFDD

Welcome to our first post of our wonderful and inspiring blog about the food we chomp down all over Vancouver.  We will post good and bad delights to share with our readers.  Contributing writers to this blog will be both San and Fan.  We hope you enjoy our quick and simple reviews.  We welcome everyone to leave comments or suggestions to the both of us.  Of course, we will be screening the comments to avoid any dirty thoughts left on our delicious delights.
