Granville Island Starbucks

It was a nice Spring Sunday when San and Fan decided to head down to Granville Island for a stroll.  It has been a few years since we both been down there.  As expected, it was crowded with cars, kids and dogs.

After strolling around the markets, we headed to the Starbucks near the main entrance of Granville Island. This store was quite large.  It even had a sundeck on the second floor.

San had one of her usual drinks.  It was a customized green tea latte.   San enjoys her GRTL like this:

That means, 3 scoops of matcha powder, no syrup, 1% milk.  It is quite a mouthful to order, so San normally brings her sleeve from her last order so she does not have to repeat it to the next barista.  According to San, they changed the formula chain wide, so instead of putting the match in the cup, they put it into the milk at the same time for steaming.  Thus, the flavor is inconsistent as it will depend on how much milk the barista pours into the steaming jug.  This is why San is now hesitant when ordering her GRTL.  This one turned out to be great, full of match flavor.  This means the barista did not over fill the jug with milk.

San gives this GRTL 5 out of 5 Delights.
