One More Sushi - UBC

One More Sushi has been in the UBC neighbourhood for the longest time.  It is at the University Village shopping centre just off campus.  It is quite a busy place because staff and students come here to take a break from campus dining.  It’s not the best place for sushi, but just an option available that is slightly off campus.

This is the Nabeyaki udon.  It is in a iron pot with chickens, mushrooms, some veggies and one egg.

The soup very hot just like the way it should be.  The noodles were chewy and not overcooked.  The soup base was flavourful and not overly seasoned.  The Nabeyaki also comes with tempura on the side.  It has 2 pieces of prawn and a piece of carrot.  The batter was too thick and was not hot like it’s been sitting around for a while.

This is a set box meal with teriyaki chicken, California roll and  adegeshi tofu as a side.  This was a good value as it was under $10 with such a variety.

It’s not a restaurant you’d want to go out of your way for to visit.  As mentioned, it’s targeted for the UBC community so don’t be sad it’s not in your neighbourhood because  I’m sure you’d have not trouble finding one similar if not better in your own street.

SFDD gives 3.5 out of 5 Delights.
